How do I add a join in a universe which contains a derived table when the PC I am running designer on has no database connection and therefore the derived table does not parse and shows no field names, and cannot represent the joins!

When in designer select the insert menu option and select join.

This displays the join definition toolbox.

Within this toolbox the join can be manually added in the expression textbox
