A possible new K.I.D.D.S. site

Last Wednesday saw us take an enjoyable trip through the countryside in the KI Tesla for a socially-distanced initial meeting with the Head of Performance and the Children Services Lead in another new client, our 53rd Local Authority.  It also provided the opportunity to collect laptops to allow us to start work immediately on their requirements, which include support in automating the production of performance dashboards, implementing a Data Quality RAG-rating framework and the development of some self-serve FOI datasets.

Tate will be leading on Project Co-ordination and account management, Clare will be responsible for marrying business requirements with data mapping and Maddi will be working on the development of data structures and visualisations.

It is early days and full discovery is only just underway, but it is starting to look like our KI Dataset Development System (K.I.D.D.S.) could be the most elegant way of ensuring that we meet the client's reporting objectives and leave behind BI solutions that are easily maintainable by the in-house teams.

They may also choose to be part of the growing group of users who collaborate on developments, share upgrade ideas, and benefit automatically from any dataset and presentation developments that we deliver to other Local Authorities.

With that in mind, we thought it a good idea to take Jules along as well, in her capacity as K.I.D.D.S. co-ordinator, a role that becomes ever more vital as our number of K.I.D.D.S. customers grows, and those group benefits are spread more widely.
